THE BEATLES Revolver PMC 7009
The rare mono 1st pressing 1st matrix XEX 605 2 XEX 606 1
Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve has a little staining.
This initial mono pressing, available for a few days only when released in Aug 1966, contains an alternate version of the song 'Tomorrow Never Know' (otherwise known as 'remix 11'). This version features the sound effects dropped in different places in the track and also has a slightly longer fade-out with a piano not audible in the replaced later editions. Despite 'Revolver being reissued in mono in the current 'Remasters' series, it does NOT have the 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' - it can only and will ever be found here on this 1st vinyl pressing.
