THE BEATLES “Rarities” 1980 1st Cover, 1st L.A. Press, Vinyl NM, Gatefold EX!
Really nice 1st Pressing of this “must have” Beatles release. The original first gatefold cover is totally intact with no cuts or losses, maybe a small crease or two after 44 years. The 1st cover is evidenced by the the cover photo being raised off the field, there is no George Martin production credit on the lower left corner, and there is a text error on the Helter Skelter description. The vinyl looks shiny, no visible marks, Near Mint. The inner sleeve of band snapshots on glossy paper has no tears or major creases, just a three inch seam split on the bottom.
Overall, this is a superb copy of this original Lp!
A compilation of “B” sides, rare tracks, and alternative takes that were not on U.S. Capitol album releases. A lot of fun to listen to, and something needed for your vinyl collection.
