This is an original UK 1965 FIRST PRESSING of the classic RUBBER SOUL   LP by THE BEATLES on the PARLOPHONE record label. The original front laminated flip back sleeve is in really lovely condition considering this album is AMAZINGLY 52 years old. The front of the sleeve has the lightest amount of ring ware and a really tiny laminate lift in the bottom right corner directly beneath the £ sign. The back of the flip back has a very slight crease and some ware to the opening edge where the record slots in and out but I think it still looks magnificent. The original EMITEX inner sleeve is here and although has creases and ring ware amazingly the cellophane  is completely still attached firmly. The spine is in EXCELLENT condition and all spinal writings can  be read clearly and has no damage at all. Side 1 record label has the embossed KT tax code proving this to be one of the very earliest pressings. If you double click the picture of label 1 you will see a previous owner has written the initials JF to either  side of the £ sign . Side 2 record label has no writing that should not be there. Both sides of this LP have a lot of hairlines and scuff marks but this LP plays really really well with no skipping no jumps and no sticking anywhere on this record. The vinyl still looks great with a great sheen to it but like most of the Beatles records they were played a lot because the music was so good. That is the case here but this LP plays exceptionally well. There is NOTHING that spoils the listeners enjoyment of the record and it plays a good 7.5 to 8 out of 10. So the record grades as Very good + and the sleeve is a conservative EXCELLENT MINUS.
