Description
Anything by The beatles is great, Here you can have a vintage almost 50 yrs old!! Mono Beatles Rubber Soul UK Parlophone LP. Please see all the pictures. These seem to be the ones that are the standard all others are compared to. This matrix as I understand it (XEX 579-4 and 580-4) is early from 1965 if I read the literature right. THis should be the 2nd issue done immediately after the 1st was pulled (really this is of the approximate same time as the 1st, issued right after the Loud cut was pulled due to it's inferior sound, which was why it was pulled). The LP is a super solid VG and sounds really good, I played both sides on my Luxman w/ Denon 304 MC cartridge, out of BOSE 901's this thing rocked my house! This has light surface scratches but doesn't have any major scratches. A VG from me really is a decent Lp. Certainly not perfect, this piece NM sells in the hundreds!! The cover is fair, still has a pretty good graphic, no writing on front, ? radio station ID on back?? some reddish ink on one label as seen in the pic, Cover with Splits top & bottom dead center & at the opening, largely intact binding, typical bends & a little delamination on top. I try to be critical for your benefit.
Vinyl has a uniquely awesome sound - if you grew up in the US in the 60's or 70's you know the difference. LP's are not cd's, expect some background noise and occasional pops, it's normal for LP's to have these qualities, particularly VG records but this can happen even with new ones. Shipping as listed is for USA bidders only. Please inquire if you have questions and I will provide quick answers as best I can. Thanks.
