Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul' 1965 LOUD CUT Parlophone 1st pressing vinyl LP!
This particular pressing features the RARE 'Loud Cut' pressings on both sides. This is a true first pressing! When Rubber Soul was first released, it was claimed that the bass was muddy, with an aggressive edgy vocal sound. The decision was then made to halt production whilst the mother plates were re-cut. It also features a font crossover on the labels!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there is a feelable, trail-like needle mark going round from track 1 to track 3. I'm not sure if it will skip or not but it doesn't appear to be deep to me. Due to this, I can't grade it any higher than VERY GOOD-. Elsewhere, there are light non-feelbale marks and hairlines. Label is VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - cleaner than Side 1 but it still has light scratches and non-feelable marks. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.
Audio: AUDIO GRADING TO FOLLOW!!!
Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is very smooth and crisp. It does have some creasing and a 3.5" split to one right side. It is clean and does house the record very well however!
Sleeve: The original 1965 mono flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition. The front of the sleeve has some very light laminate creasing in places with some light cornewear. There is a very small, slight scuff on the top edge but it is NOT SPLIT! REtains a very nice gloss and shine. The rear of the sleeve is clean with some light age-related discolouration in places - not a problem! Free from writing, graffiti, rips and tears! The flipbacks are slightly discoloured but intact! The spine is 100% readable with some very light creasing, not a huge issue - it's nice and white and square! Overall, a great vintage mono sleeve from 1965! DO NOT MISS OUT!!!
