Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Revolver 12" 1969 ULTRA RARE MONO original final yellow and black Parlophone LP vinyl press' in overall EXCELLENT condition!
This particular copy of Revolver is RARE because this particular label, without 'Sold in U.K', was used for literally 3-4 months in the late summer of 1969!! Very limited and hard to come across in such great condition!!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - light hairlines and light scratches but nothing deep or feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD.
- Side 2 - light marks but nothing deep! Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD.
Audio:
- In my eyes, the audio is EXCELLENT-/EXCELLENT!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! There is some quiet background noise throughout but it isn't very audible and never really gets in the way. A deep clean could help! The audio is incredibly punchy, crisp and LOUD!! Great original tonality and a very very enjoyable listen! Lies very flat and plays very well!
The original sepia EMI advertising inner sleeve is in GOOD+ condition. Unfortunately, there is a large split along the bottom edge - approximately 5-6". Light creases and light staining elsewhere.
The original mono flipback sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. The front of the sleeve does have some light ringwear, some laminate creasing and light edgwear but nothing damaging or serious. The rear of the sleeve has some creases on the flipbacks and light ringwear but nothing much else! It's a very clean sleeved with NO WRITING, NO GRAFFITI and NO TEARS! All edges are fully intact and the spine has a few creases and small pinches. It is also about 95% readable (unfortunately, the 'h' in "The" is slightly unreadable). PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!!
Overall, a very RARE record that hardly shows up!
