This Auction is for an original Beatles LP from 1966
THE BEATLES
Revolver
PARLOPHONE PMC 7009 MONO 1966
Tracks are :- Side 1. Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, I'm Only Sleeping, Love You To, Here There And Everywhere, Yellow Submarine, She Said She Said.
Side 2. Good Day Sunshine, And Your Bird Can Sing, For No One, Dr.Robert, I Want To Tell You, Got To Get You Into My Life, Tomorrow Never Knows.
The record is in a very decent, well played condition. There are quite a few light surface marks on both sides, but there aren't any serious scratches or damage that would affect the playing of the album. This is an early pressing, I think probably a second pressing and is very collectable. The vinyl is thick and feels heavy.
The labels are the original Black labels with the Yellow Parlophone Logo and includes "The Gramophone Co.Ltd", & "Sold in UK" label text.
The Matrix numbers are XEX 605 - 2 and XEX 06 - 2.
The front laminated sleeve was Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. It really is in nice shape and must grade as very good + or even excellent. The laminate is complete and hasn't lifted. There are a few tiny ripples around the outer edges, but nothing serious. There is no rubbing along the top edge and just a miniscule amount on the bottom edge. The corners are very good and the spine is wonderful and square with the printing showing clearly. The rear side is very good with just a bit of age showing along the edges of the laminated flip backs. Bit of feathering evident at the sleeve opening. All in all a very nice example and well worthy of being in a Beatles collection.
