Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Revolver 12" 1969 RARE STEREO original Parlophone/EMI ONE BOX LP' in overall EXCELLENT- condition.
This particular pressing features a rare misprint on the label of Side 2. The song 'Got To Get You Into My Life' has been misprinted as 'I Got To Get You Into My Life'.
Also, I discovered a receipt from 'Boots the chemist' dated to the 4th June 1970 inside the LP sleeve! I've decided to include this in the sale as it dates back to the original era and it's more or less a piece of history!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - several hairlines and sleeve removal trails - nothing serious. Rated as EXCELLENT-. Label is EXCELLENT-. (Slight spindle wear).
- Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a feelable but not deep scratch about 3" long. RARE label is EXCELLENT-. (slight spindle wear).
Audio:
- In my eyes, the audio is EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! Minimal background crackle is present in between tracks and in quieter parts - never gets in the way of the music! Fantastic, loud, punchy sound with original tonality! A few random pops and clicks can be heard from time to time but aren't overbearing and never get in the way! Lies very flat and plays very well.
The original EMI advertising inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD++ condition. One small, 1" split to the bottom. Doesn't affect how the record is housed.
The original 1969 stereo flipback sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-. Seems to have some sort of warp and ring wear (please see pictures!). Looks good though! Nice and clean with the usual light wear and tear. Flipbacks are clean and tight. Spine is 100% readable!
