UK 1st Pressing with yellow & black Parlophone Labels, with “THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD” rim text, and with “ SOLD IN THE .U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITION, SEE PRICE LIST” label text. The Mono Parlophone Catalogue No. PMC 7009. Side Two XEX 606-1 Matrix Pressing, with the withdrawn Remix 11 of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ with its extended tape loops and longer Honky Tonk piano at the end of the track. This cover/sleeve was printed manufactured by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd in London and has track 4 as DR. ROBERT.  Original tissue lined ‘USE EMITEX’ inner sleeve printed with correct ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ bottom right.

Sleeve: Excellent+ to Near Mint 

The gloss laminate front panel has little to fault other than some extremely light creases at spine, there when purchased new. Untreated back panel is clean and unmarked and has no ring-wear the back or indeed the front. This sleeve has retained its original square corners. The overall appearance of the sleeve and the lack of discolouration go a long way to making this a truly collectable record.   

Inner Sleeve: Excellent

The original lined inner sleeve has age related colouration, a light creases.    

Labels: Excellent+

Clean unmarked labels, with just two light spindle lines.

Vinyl Visually: Excellent+

Viewing in bright light, reveals just some extremely light sleeve removal wispy lines.    

Audio Quality: Excellent

This album plays superbly throughout, No distortion from being over played,  No clicks, pops, jumps or sticks throughout.

Grading Records:

The photos within this advertisement are of the record offered for sale. I do not use stock images or previously used photographs.

This record has been checked visually both under normal daylight and under a strong under halogen spot-lamp. Every record I sell has been checked for its audio quality and played through completely on both sides. I check to ensure that they are flat on the rotating turntable.

I grade all records using The Record Collectors grading system, visually grading the vinyl surfaces, labels, inner sleeve and cover, adding a single (+Plus) if I believe the quality is slightly better.

The Record Collectors Grading System:

MINT: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

I take great care in the dispatch of records and only use strong cruciform packaging. Every record is placed within a new poly-lined inner before its dispatch to you. The vinyl and sleeve are separated to decrease the likelihood of damage to sleeves.
