Description

THE BEATLES - REVOLVER LP - FIRST PRESSING WITH “ MIX 11”. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class tracked and signed.

This album was released in August 1966, it was the Beatles’ final recording project before their retirement as live performers and marked a progression from Rubber Soul in 1965 in terms of the group’s readiness to experiment in the recording studio. This is illustrated by the psychedelic track “ Tomorrow Never Knows” which was the subject of several remixes. This copy of the album has “remix 11” which John Lennon had changed to “remix 8” in later pressings making this album of particular interest and rarity.

I have owned this record from new.

The vinyl is in a nice condition probably very good/ excellent grade with some light marks, scratches and scuffs on both sides but I have played it recently and it has no skips or jumps and plays very well and the tracks are clear and bright and with only some background noise between tracks and the intro on each side.

The cover is in very good/excellent condition. It has some age discolouration on both sides as can be seen in the photos but no tears ,creases or other damage. My name is on the back but it is very feint and can’t be seen unless you really look for it.

ER is missing from Revolver on the spine as can be seen on the photos.

The covers on the Revolver album were printed by either EJ Day &Co or Garrod &Lofthouse. This copy was by EJ Day who apparently did the early pressings giving this record a greater rarity value.

The label is in very good condition and has a KT stamping on Side 1.Side 2 has some markings from and old label that has come off.

The inner sleeve is the original and is discoloured and on one side has my name and the album title and also a slight tear to the round opening on one side.
