THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1966 FIRST PARLOPHONE LABEL PRESSING FROM INDIA.
YELLOW PARLOPHONE LABEL. PCS 7009.
FRONT LAMINATED FLIP-BACK SLEEVE WITH "THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY OF INDIA", AND "DUM DUM. INDIA" ON REVERSE.
LABEL RIM TEXT STATES "MADE IN INDIA BY THE GRAMOPHONE CO OF INDIA"
MATRICES: SIDE 1. YEX.605-1. SIDE 2: YEX 606-1.
COMES WITH ORIGINAL INNER ANTI STATIC SLEEVE STATING "MADE IN INDIA".
SLEEVE: FACE IS EXCELLENT. EDGES/CORNERS SHOW VERY LIGHT WEAR. REVERSE SHOWS LIGHT STORAGE WEAR. NICE AND CLEAN.
THE OPEN EDGE SHOWS THE MOST WEAR. IT HAS CREASES AND WEAR WITH A 1/2 INCH TEAR TO REVERSE SIDE.LIGHT SIGN OF RINGWEAR CLOSE TO THIS. THE CORNERS ON THE OPEN EDGE BOTH HAVE WEAR.
THE LABELS ARE EX-, WITH LIGHT SPINDLE MARKINGS.
THE HEAVY VINYL IS VG+, WITH MAINLY HAIRLINE MARKINGS. SIDE 2 SHOWS A FEW MORE DEFINED MARKINGS ON TRACK 5, BUT THESE ARE VERY SHALLOW, AND CAN'T BE FELT. I HAVE NOT PLAYED THE VINYL, BUT WOULD THINK THEY MAY POSSIBLY MAKE A TICK/POP ON PLAYBACK.
THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE IS IN VG- CONDITION. I HAVE REHOUSED THE VINYL IN A NEW ANTI-STATIC SLEEVE.
LOVELY EXAMPLE OF A SCARCE PRESSING.
