THE BEATLES - REVOLVER, HELP, ABBEY ROAD, HARD DAYS NIGHT, BLUE - VINYL ALBUMS.
***PLEASE READ***
These records are all flawed, so please only purchase if you're happy with the following. The records have all been well loved, and by well loved, I don't mean played once and stored in airtight containers for 50 years. I mean well loved as in played to death, passed around at parties and doodled on!!
They're all playable,but would probably suit a low-end turntable and someone who wouldn't mind a bit of snap, crackle and pop here and there. Maybe a teenager who's just getting into vinyl?
Anyway, I've had a listen, and these are my notes. The sleeves, as you can see, are a mess, with the exception of Revolver, which is in great shape.
HELP - plays through, on the whole, really well with just some light crackle here and there,nothing overbearing. Annoyingly, it skips once halfway through side one.
A HARD DAY'S NIGHT - Pretty much the same as Help, including the frustrating skip halfway through side one!!!
REVOLVER - Side one is great, with some light crackle here and there, nothing overbearing.
Side two starts with quite a bit of crackle but soon settles. There's quite a bit of crackle and a pop on For No One, and I Want to Tell You is quite crackly with a couple of skips. Tomorrow Never Knows, frustratingly, also has a skip.
ABBEY ROAD - although none of the scratches look too sinister, it does play with crackle throughout.
BLUE ALBUM - Sleeves and inners are in awful condition, but both discs play pretty well from what I've heard, with just light crackle here and there, and during quieter moments.
