CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

Clean and bright just with a collection of spindle marks around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS

Both surfaces are clean and glossy, displaying just a few light handling marks in strong daylight. My inspection reveals some paper hairlines but no other significant marks or wear. Both sides lie flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT PLUS

This exquisite sounding copy has been barely played and the sound is wonderfully warm & clear with a deep, rich bass and clean, focused highs which you won't find on later issues.

Both run-ins and all bands play silently and without any clicks, pops or any other distractions.

This copy has received numerous careful plays but is without any major deterioration to the sound quality throughout. All tracks play without any groovewear distortion and my careful playcheck uncovered only one light tick between “Yellow Submarine” and “She Said”, one light tick between “And Your Bird Can Sing” and “For No One” and one tick on “Got to Get You Into My Live”.

There are no further audible faults or wear on this well-looked after copy.

Cover

EXCELLENT PLUS

This example retains a superb unscratched, high-gloss front laminate with just a hint of toning towards the spine area, but no 'thumbnail' creases or any other wear.

The rear panel is clean and perfectly black where it should be, with no ringwear rubbing, writing, missing paper or any fingermarks.

All flipbacks, both seams and the spine are in perfect, undamaged and unworn condition.

Inner-sleeve

GOOD

With some age toning to the paper, a few light storage creases and two 1,5 cm tears on the centre-hole but no writing or missing paper.

Grading to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.

I carefully play all the records I sell at volume and list all visual and audible faults.

All the photos have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.

All records are securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
