Description
This sale is for the single Beatles album titled, Rarities.
There were 2 released “Rarities” albums but we are selling the 1979 Master Release version produced on the Parlophone label, (not Capitol Records) manufactured by E.M.I., and released in the U.K., not the United States.
Please Note: The 1978 release (UK # PSLP261) was only released as part of the 13-album, box set worldwide and says "Sampler Album Not for Sale" or some variation on the cover and/or on the label, (aside from the Japanese version).
The vinyl is in Excellent (EX) almost Near Mint condition with 1 tiny hairline that is almost impossible to see or feel but otherwise the vinyl is beautiful and glossy with no other damage, no groove wear, no marks, no smudges and no scratches. Please see photos.
The jacket is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition as it shows very well with very light ring wear and very light age wear. It includes the original, "Made in Great Britain" wax paper inner sleeve in Excellent condition. Please see photos.
All tracks are in "Stereo" except A2 to A6 and B1 to B4 and B6 to B8 which are "Mono" recordings.
“Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand” ( “I Want To Hold Your Hand”) and “Sie Leibt Dich” (“She Loves You”) are on this record exactly as the Beatles chose to release this album. Their original 1963 singles first came out on 45 rpm in German, not English and they wanted this album to reflect both songs in German to show their appreciation for the apprenticeships they received in Hamburg, Germany.
