Description

I have for sale a genuine original LP by The Beatles called Please Please Me. It is a UK fourth pressing with the MATRIX XEX.421 1N/XEX.422 1N Stampers GTA and RDM. It comes to you on the Parlophone label, mono PMC 1202. I have graded the record as EX (I have played the LP right through on both sides and it has a clean and crisp sound with no jumps at all.) and the sleeve as VG+ (there is some discolouration on the rear of the sleeve with some wear on the top edge foldover, see picture), see my grading chart below.

RECORD GRADING

All my records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or Un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT (EX):  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG):  The record has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G):  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F):  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.

POOR (P)  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B)  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.

All items being sold for auction and won by a bidder must be paid for within 5 days of the close of auction. Failure to pay within 5 days will result in non-payers being reported to eBay.

If you have any problems with your item please contact me and hopefully we can resolve your problem, negative feedback should only be used as a very last resort and should be avoided if at all possible.

If you have less than 10 feedbacks, please e-mail me before you bid otherwise your bid will be removed.
