HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY 'ONE OFF' WEDNESDAY NIGHT AUCTIONS (ENDING LATE WEDNESDAY 20TH APRIL / EARLY THURSDAY 21ST!)!!!!
As many people may already know, I usually end all my items on Sunday nights (and these will still continue!)!!!! However as I had quite a few extra items of UTMOST RARITY come in to me this week (they really are TOP QUALITY, and NOT cheap overstock!) and completely ran out of time to list them last Sunday - I decided to do a 'one off' set of listings of Wednesday auctions ending on Wednesday 20th April!!!! So PLEASE NOTE that this auction will end late on Wednesday 20th April (and NOT Sunday!) - though of course, I will be putting more auctions on during the week for next Sundays auctions!!!! And please don’t forget take a look at my other auctions, as there really are some INCREDIBLE items listed!!!! Thanks for reading and please take a look at this AMAZING item below:-
On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Please Please Me" and is an ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS THE BEATLES FIRST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (LIKE THIS!)!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! AND BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS - I HAVENT A CLUE WHICH PRESSING THIS IS. I PERSONALLY WOULD DATE IT TO AROUND MID TO LATE 1963. IN 1994 THERE WERE 4 LISTED PRESSINGS OF PLEASE PLEASE ME, IN 2004 THERE WAS 6 DIFFERENT PRESSINGS. TODAY???? THERE SEEMS TO BE ABOUT 20. THEY EVEN INCLUDE 'AN EXTRA 33 1/3' AS A PRESSING NOW - WHICH IT WASNT, IT WAS JUST A SIMPLE LABEL ERROR WHICH THE PRESSING MACHINES DIDNT EVEN STOP TO CORRECT!!!! ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS LP - IS THAT IT DATES FROM AROUND MID TO LATE 1963, AND HAS THE FAR RARER 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER (MOST WERE COMMON 'E.J.DAY' COVERS INSTEAD!)!!!!
BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSING!!!! 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 1ST PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED COPIES ONLY!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR 'IN-HOUSE' USE BY EMI / PARLOPHONE THEMSELVES (FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES), SENT TO RADIO STATIONS OR REVIEWERS AT THE TIME (FOR PROMOTION), TAKEN WITH PERMISSION BY EMPLOYEES (AND STICKERED TO STOP RE-SALE), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!! THEY WERE NEARLY ALWAYS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - AND ARE NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! AND OF COURSE, YOU CAN NEVER BEE 100% CERTAIN THAT THEY WERE ON THIS LP FROM NEW (UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FULL LPs HISTORY!). THOUGH IN THIS CASE, I HAVE EXAMINED THE STICKER VERY CAREFULLY INDEED - AND IT IS 100% GENIUNE (NOT A RE-PRINT!), AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF 'RE-STICKING', NO CREASES, AND NO GLUE MARKS EITHER!!!! THE STICKER IS ALSO 100% FLAT TO THE TOUCH TOO (NO SUSPECT LUMPS OR DIPS UNDERNEATH ETC!) - LEADING ME TO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT IT HAS BEEN ON THIS LP FROM NEW, AND THE STICKER ITSELF IS DEFINITELY 100% GENIUNE IN ALL RESPECTS!!!! BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES LPs EVER MADE!!!!
THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND STILL PLAYS VERY WELL INDEED!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1963 UK MONO PRESSING ON THE YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, ORIGINAL 'EMITEX' INNER SLEEVE, AND 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Parlophone UK Pressing from 1965 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK MONO Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO rips, NO tears, only VERY minor 'texturisation', NO wear (apart from a TINY 'touched in' trace around the centre holes), NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition - and still VERY bright & shiny looking indeed!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, only 2 or 3 small lateral hairline type marks, NO scufflines, only a few VERY light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! It plays with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent record indeed!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 'Emitex' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, some creasing (cover is still flat looking!), shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the bottom corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, a few creases to the flipbacks, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not Very Good - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! Thanks for looking! Cheers!!!!!--ooOOoo--
Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one! I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem! This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem. Thanks again - Graham @ XXXRecords.
PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt. MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):- Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little. Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002. However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever. However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out. Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself. On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!). I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs! And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference. THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER! No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged. Any questions - please ask!price rating
