Description
THE BEATLES
Please Please Me (Parlophone PMC 1202) 1963
Here's a lovely mono copy of the Beatles' debut LP, as released in the UK in March 1963.
The labels have the 'Northern Songs' publishing credits for songs 1 & 2 on side 1 and 4 & 6 on side 2 (see pictures).
The 'MT' tax / price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
It comes in its correct front-laminated, tri-flipback, E.J. Day-printed mono cover, with the Angus McBean photo credit in the extreme lower right-hand corner (see picture).
It comes complete with its original 'Use Emitex' polylined inner sleeve (see picture).
The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N (side one) and XEX 422-1N (side two).
CONDITION
The vinyl is in beautiful EX shape, glossy with hairlines and minor marks.
The labels are in EX shape, with no spindle wear.
The heavy card cover is also in EX shape, with lightly bumped corners. The front is beautiful, with sharp and vibrant colours. The back is bright white, with no ringwear whatsoever. There's a small shop sticker lower left (for 'Record Corner, 39 New Rents, Ashford'). This could probably be removed, but I think it adds to the appeal of the record.
The spine is clear and fully legible (see picture).
Please note that this is GUARANTEED not to be a bootleg or counterfeit. It is in every respect ORIGINAL.
I ship promptly worldwide, and do not charge 'handling' fees. Postage in the UK is 2.50 GBP. Within Europe is 4.50 GBP. To the US or Japan is 6.50 GBP. Other territories please email me for a quote.
