Condition
Vinyl - Excellent
The vinyl is in lovely condition with just one feelable scratch across track 5 on side 2 but this doesn't affect audio apart from a couple of crackles. Otherwise there are fine hairlines and sleeve removal lines visible in bright light.
Audio - Very Good+
The audio is very good, the tracks are very clear and distortion free. However, there is background noise throughout the album, more obvious on run in/off and between tracks. But this doesn't take away from the enjoyment of listening to this classic album in stereo.
Labels - Excellent
Fifth press (1965). Label rimtext starts "the Gramophone company.." Has the "Sold in the UK…" text across the centre. Some wear to centre hole with some spindle wear to both sides, otherwise no writing, tears or stickers.
Sleeve - Very Good+
Front cover has the smaller Stereo in top right hand corner. Cover shows some creasing and a little laminate lift to bottom corner of front, spine side. There is some storage wear to corners but spine is nice and clean and fully readable. Rear cover external flipbacks are all intact. Rear cover is clean with some age discolouration and dirt around flipbacks.
Inner Sleeve - Excellent+
Original EMITEX sleeve. A little age discolouration and some minor creasing but no seam splits or tears.
A lovely copy of an original pressing of this iconic, classic album.
Record will be removed from sleeve for posting. I will always obtain proof of posting.
