Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Please Please Me' 1965 ULTRA RARE small mono pressing vinyl LP in overall EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
This particular pressing features the small mono on the front of the sleeve. This is considered much rarer than the larger mono's than feature on the earlier sleeves. It also has a FULLY LAMINATED BACK!! I'm not sure if this is factory laminated or not but it's a very professional job and has preserved the underlying snow white back of the sleeve perfectly!

Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - barely any marks!! There are a few extremely light whispy hairlines - nothing feelable! It has an incredible gloss and shine and looks amazing! Rated as EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT-! Label is EXCELLENT! Side 2 - a few more light hairlines than Side 1 but still has a fantastic gloss and shine and nothing feelable! Rated as EXCELLENT! Label is EXCELLENT!
Audio: I have played the first track on Side 1 and the first track on Side 2 ONLY!! Both of these tracks sounded EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+!! So much clarity and punch! Very loud with a lovely rich bass tone. Slight crackle on the run-ins but very slight! Lies very flat!
Inner Sleeve: The original EMITEX inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition! NO SPLITS or TEARS!! A lovely crisp inner sleeve with slight creasing and slight discolouration here and there but nothing serious! It has been housed in another inner sleeve to preserve the original and this is how it shall be sent.
Sleeve: The original 1965 G&L small mono flipback sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition! It features a very rare and hardly seen laminated back! This has preserved the back really nicely and it looks great! The front has a few light marks and light creasing towards the spine but nothing serious! The rear has a stamp towards the right corner - only on the laminate though and it's not so intrusive! The flipbacks are nice and tight with some light discolouration but fully intact! The spine is 100% is readable with some very light creasing here and there - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!! Overall, a very rare sleeve that looks great and retains a lot of original gloss and shine!
