THE BEATLES  PLEASE PLEASE ME LP. 1ST YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE PRESSING FOLLOWING ON FROM THE BLACK & GOLD.

THE SLEEVE IS ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN SIGNED AT THE SOUTHEND ON SEA ODEON IN 1963. THE SLEEVE IS ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN SIGNED FOR THE OWNER IN FRONT OF HER. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS THE SIGNATURES ALLEGED TO BE THAT OF THE BEATLES ARE HARD TO SEE DUE TO THEM BEING PLACED ON TOP OF THE DARKEST PART OF THE SLEEVE. THE THEN OWNER POINTED THIS OUT TO RINGO STARR(THE LAST TO HAVE ALLEGEDLY SIGNED) HE ALLEGEDLY TOOK THE LP AWAY AND IT WAS RETURNED WITH THE BACK SIGNED. THE PERSON THAT RETURNED THE LP WAS NOT A MEMBER OF THE  BEATLES.

I AM SELLING THIS LP AS A 1ST B & Y PRESSING LP. THE SIGNATURES ARE INCLUDED. IF THEY ARE CORRECT THEN £2000+ IS A REASONABLE SUM. IF THEY ARE NOT THEN IT IS STILL A VERY NICE DEBATABLE POINT. PERSONALLY I THINK THEY ARE. I HAVE HAD LOTS OF PEOPLE LOOK AT THIS AND THE JURY IS OUT. SOME SAY YES SOME SAY NO.

THE FAIREST WAY IS TO SELL IT WITH NO CLAIMS WHAT SO EVER.

VINYL CONDITION

EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT MINUS The vinyl is still  bright and shows some MINOR signs of being played, there are some  LIGHT  marks but nothing that will affect play. I will clean the vinyl before posting. The spindle hole shows  signs of wear.

EXCELLENT .  E J DAY& CO LTD TRI FLIP BACK SLEEVE BEARING THE SIGNATURES PURPORTED TO BE THAT OF THE BEATLES.

LABEL CONDITIONS

VERY GOOD . SPINDLE MARKS / WEAR  AS SEEN IN THE PICS, NO DATE, NO SOLD IN TEXT AND I CAN SEE /FEEL NO TAX CODE

PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE BUYING THE VINYL AND SLEEVE. THE SIGNATURES ARE THERE BUT I MAKE NO CLAIMS AS TO THE AUTHENTICITY OF THEM. I HAVE JUST RELAYED THE STORY AS IT WAS TOLD TO ME.

GRADING  Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added my own (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT TERMS

Items must be payed for within five days please unless arranged prior to the auction ending. If no payment has arrived within five days, I will start a claim through ebay.

RETURNS POLICY: 

I aim to provide an excellent service and hope that all buyers are completely happy with their purchase. However, if for any reason this should not be so, please do not hesitate contact me. I do accept returns, and on receipt of the returned item I will give a full refund, however I will not refund what it costs the buyer to send it back, as otherwise I am just paying for the buyer to look at it. I will not issue a refund if the details that are stated on the listing are correct and the buyer has missed what is clearly stated, so please read carefully.

PACKAGING: 

I use only purpose made card record mailers with b flute stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve to protect the inner sleeve . This is then placed along with any other inners etc into a protective sleeve and packaged with two stiffeners for full protection. Fragile stickers are also used.

Every attempt is made to try and make sure that your goods arrive exactly as they left me.
