All records are professionally cleaned and play tested to ensure no nasty unwanted issues. Records are graded inline with the Record Collector Guidelines.
This record would grade as follows:
Vinyl:Fair+
The labels show no pen marks and all text is legible but there is clear signs of use and age. There is lots of spindle marks showing to both sides, and some light wear around the centres. There is also a small sticker(64) to the left side of side 1, and a faint sticker removal mark(similar size) just to the right of this. There is also light grubbiness and general signs of age to both sides.
The vinyl itself is absolutely covered in light scratches! There is also a few other marks, blotches and general signs of heavy use, neglect and wear. There is nothing that can be felt but the record is, and I repeat covered in light lines and marks. It is sold more as a 'filler or historical copy' than anything else due to the heavy signs of use.
I did play test the record nevertheless and it plays with no skips, sticks or tics but is far from perfect. There is surface noise and splutters in the run ins/out on both sides and also some distortion noticeable on both sides. This is more evident on side 1, with side 2 playing better. Both sides are listenable with audio that is not horrific but there is some distortion and light interference.
So a clearly heavily used and neglected vintage 7" that is graded low and sold as a filler or historical item(due to it being one of the first few hundred ever made, given by the G 1 mother/stamper). It does play through with no major faults(skips, sticks) but it is worn and so has some distortion and other issues, as you can imagine with a record graded at F+.
Sleeve:Generic
The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement sleeve.
It will also be sent in a brand new plastic protective outer sleeve.
All records are sent swiftly after receiving payment and will be packaged securely between solid card stiffeners.
