THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME 1963 PMC 1202 BLACK & GOLD DICK JAMES CREDIT 1N/1N
Note: All records are professionally cleaned prior to grading on an Okki Nokki RCM using L’Art Du Son cleaning fluid. This does not restore a record to brand new, but rather removes the majority of dust and dirt to leave a record (and it’s audio) as clean as possible.
Year
1963
Label
PARLOPHONE
Matrix Numbers
XEX 421-1N 1 H
XEX 422-1N 1 H
Sleeve
The sleeve appears to be in G- condition with some discolouration, creasing, both flipbacks have ripped/come away, name and scribble to front and general shelf and usage wear from over the years.
Vinyl
Visually the record appears to be in POOR condition with plenty of scratches, scuffs, some stylus wear and some sleeve marks under bright light. Side 1 looks playable, however Side 2 looks like someone had a big falling out and has had their collection damaged with a sharp object. The marks seen on the label in the picture continue across the last couple of tracks of the album. It may be playable, however due to the expense of my setup, I have not tried any playback whatsoever and is sold as an unplayable/decorative/filler piece.
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
The use of + or - allows for items that fall between the above grades.
