THE BEATLES Orig 1966 STEREO Yesterday And Today 3RD State BUTCHER.
This is the Mickey Mantle of Album covers, the famed “Butcher.” In my humble opinion the stereo cover presents w great eye appeal, moreso than the mono. This one as photos will show has had a decent peel, done by the original owner. This seller obtained it from the son of the owner from Oklahoma City. The faces look good without paper loss other than the finish being thinned around Ringo. Photos will show the rest. Lower left corner has a split of about 2 1/2-3” front and back but this isn’t too noticeable on inspection. The back is nice and for a white back cover it is undoubtedly among the nicer ones.
The vinyl? It’s got light scratches throughout and a skip on I’m Only Sleeping. A good clean may remedy that. So it’s an ok copy. There you have it.
