Description
Collection of Beatles MONO Vinyl LPs and 7ins. All being sold by the original owner from the 60s who is downsizing to a new home. Varying quality of vinyl and covers, see below for more details. We do not have a turntable so unable to comment on playing quality. All of these records were bought and played frequently in the 60s so quality is in line with frequent play.
LP's : RUBBER SOUL - 1965 - MONO PMC1267 Exterior Sleeve, good condition, some yellowing with age and some creases consistent with removal and insertion of the record.# Interior Sleeve, good condition, yellow with age.# Vinyl - Fair-Good visible wispy lines, nothing that can be felt under finger on side 1. Side two there is a small indentation that can be felt on the last track. Dirty with finger marks on.
HELP - PMC1255 MONO 1965 Exterior Sleeve in Good condition, some yellowing with age, no tape or other markings. Interior Sleeve in Very God condition - yellowing and a little creased Vinyl - very dirty but no real marks on side 1. Side 2 also dirty and a small mark on Tracks 2 and 6 but can't be felt with the finger.
REVOLVER - PMC7009 MONO 1966 Exterior Sleeve has been taped across the top edge on the back, this has yellowed with age, dirty markings on the front, a few creases on the spine. Interior sleeve - good condition, yellowed with age and a little dirty. Vinyl - Fair - Good condition - a few wispy markings on both sides. I can't feel any markings under my finger. Dirty, needs a good clean.
WITH THE BEATLES - PMC1206- MONO Exterior Sleeve has lots of biro and pencil marks and writing on the back, there is tape on the edges which has yellowed with age. The cover is very creased and also on the front has embossed lettered tape on the front. Interior Sleeve yellowed but good condition. Vinyl - label is scratched and some of the colouring has come off. Vinyl has been well used and well used, it's very dirty and there are wispy lines but I can't feel any under my finger or my nail.
BEATLES FOR SALE - PMC1240 - MONO Exterior Gatefold Sleeve - creased and a couple of minor rips where the gatefold opens. Has a Parlaphone and EMI label on the front. Interior Sleeve - This has Decca written on so is likely not the original sleeve. however, apart from creases and a few yellow marks it's in good condition. Vinyl - dirty and a few wispy lines but nothing that can be felt under the fingernail.
A HARD DAYS NIGHT - PMC1230 MONO Exterior sleeve - a few creases and yellowing with age but otherwise good condition for the age. Interior sleeve - yellowed and creased but good condition. Vinyl - Good condition, a few wispy lines, one on side 1 track 2
List of singles - most are in the original covers except She Loves You, which we have replaced with a new cover. Most covers have creases as expected with the paper sleeves and most also have writing on the top right corner. All the singles have been well played and all are in Fair-Good condition, most need a good clean. There are marks on each of the singles commensurate with high play in the early days.
