  TITLE:    THE ORIGINAL GREATEST HITS ARTISTS:  THE BEATLES LABEL:  GREATEST RECORDS  #GRC-1001  LP RELEASE INFO: 1964 US original vinyl pressing FORMAT:  33 RPM, LP, 12" RECORD CONDITION:   The vinyl looks like it has never been played.  The vinyl looks new and glossy, with no scuffs, no hairlines, no fingerprints.   The label is pristine with no marks or writing. COVER CONDITION:    The cover is still in its original cellophane.   The cover is shiny gold .  At some point,  the opening side was scotch taped closed - it has long since dried out and fallen off, but the tape residue remains along the opening edge.  The cover has all solid seams with no splits.  There is a small area of light shelf wear on the bottom left edge (corner over about an inch or so).  The cover overall is still very nice and clean.  See photo.   NOTES:   1964 original US vinyl pressing, supposedly the very 1st Beatles bootleg record.  It was sold thru TV ads & in stores.  The strange thing is there is nothing on the cover that mentions The Beatles, but the songs and the cover art clearly infer that this is a Beatles album.  And, in fact, it IS a BEATLES album and a very hard to find collectable.  It also has a great selection of classic Beatles songs:  Twist & Shout, I Want To  Hold Your Hand, All My Loving, Please Please Me, From Me To You, Do You Want To Know A Secret, Love Me Do, Can't Buy Me Love,  Roll Over Beethoven, Please Mr. Postman, I'll Get You, and She Loves You.
