COMMENT... "THE BEATLES" .. WHAT CAN WE SAY? ... AS A LONG TIME BEATLES FAN AND COLLECTOR FROM WAY BACK IN 1962 /'63 I WAS VERY SCEPTICAL ABOUT THIS ALBUM BUT I HAVE TO SAY FULL MARKS TO "SIR PAUL" AS AFTER SEVERAL LISTENINGS I HAVE TO ADMIT IT IS DEFINATELY MY PREFERRED VERSION. IT IS WITHOUT DOUBT MUCH IMPROVED FOR NOT BEING COATED IN DECORATIVE LAYERS AND WITHOUT THE CLUTTER OF PHIL SPECTOR'S LONG TIME INDULGENCE WITH THE "REVERB" BUTTON! IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COPY OF THIS ALBUM OR IF YOURS IS LESS THAN PERFECT THEN THIS COULD BE YOUR LUCKY DAY AS THIS COPY IS AS PERFECT AS YOU CAN FIND AS IT IS STILL SEALED FROM NEW!!! ( The second picture is my own copy to show you the contents! Yours will be "Brand New / Still Sealed!) AND COMES COMPLETE WITH A 20 PAGE 12" x 12" BOOKLET AND A FREE 7" PICTURE SLEEVE SINGLE TITLED "FLY ON THE WALL" WHICH GIVES YOU A UNIQUE INSIGHT INTO THE BEATLES AT WORK IN REHEARSAL'S AND IN THE STUDIO WITH FASCINATING OUT TAKES FROM JANUARY 1969. ..... For many years now we have been saving lots of the rare and top condition items that we have found and jokingly refer to them as our 'retirement fund'.
