THE BEATLES ‘MEET THE BEATLES!’ CAPITOL T 2047 FIRST AMERICAN LP VINYL MONO HIGH FIDELITY
The words ‘MEET THE’ are in blue and ‘BEATLES!’ is in brown print on the cover
Captioned “The First Album by England’s Phenomenal Pop Combo”.
Capitol Records High Fidelity Recording, rainbow label T-2047 (T-X-1-2047) and (T-X-2-2047). ‘Recorded in England’. Run off numbers: T1-2047-A/B and etched AB-10-66.
Publishing credit for all tracks on side one are BMI. Side two has 2 tracks credited ASCAP and 4 to BMI. The record has no scratches or other surface marks and plays perfectly without any crackle, jumps or clicks.
The inner sleeve is plain white paper with a 7cm/3in parting on the bottom edge caused by the rubbing of the record edge. The top left and right corners are folded over to allow the record to slip into the sleeve more easily.
The illustrated outer card sleeve is in good condition. The corners are slightly bumped, there is no significant edge wear. The top and spine edges have some discolouring and the spine surface is rippled. There are light signs of rubbing on the shadowy side of George Harrison’s face and to the left of John Lennon. The rear cover appears grubby from handling and ageing.

Due to the rarity of the album it will be sent by Royal Mail Signed For service.

Packaging:The LP will be enclosed in cellophane, placed in stiffened protective packaging and posted by Signed For First or Second Class Small Parcel mail (buyer's choice). Buyer pays for postage only, not for packaging or eBay fees. Due to the dimensions of the package it is designated by the Post Office as a Small Parcel and postage is priced accordingly.
Postage: First Class £4.40 Second Class £3.90 Signed For Small Parcel.
Despatch: Will post to UK only. Item will be mailed within one working day of receiving payment (please check the postmark). I always obtain a Royal Mail Proof of Posting.
