The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" Parlophone MMT-1 **rare, original U.K. mono issue 2-EP set with booklet & blue lyric sheet
A must for all Beatles' collections. A rare, first U.K. mono issue pressing on the Parlophone label of this 2-EP set that includes the booklet and blue lyric sheet fully intact inside the EP casing with side flaps. A true gem for any Beatles collector. All of the labels have he original issue U.K. print ("Sold In U.K." and THE GRAMMOPHONE CO.LTD" in caps along label rim). Machine stamped matrix #'s read " 7XCE 18435-1 on side 1, 7XCE 18434-1 on side 2, 7XCE 18436- on side 3, and 7XCE 18437-2 on side 4. The EP set is housed in its laminated gate fold jacket case with side flaps that was manufactured and printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The case also includes its booklet fully intact within the gate fold, along with its blue lyric sheet located in the booklet's center.
The vinyl is graded in a strong VG+ condition, with very clean surfaces and a nice shiny look. The labels are in solid shape, and free of any significant flaw or blemish. The laminated jacket cover with flaps is clean and solid, and in excellent shape. There's a couple of minor rub wear spots on edge at left side near lower corner and at center. The booklet and blue lyric sheet are fully intact and in excellent shape as well.
