ABSOLUTE FIRST PRESSING.
Especially rare and sought in this condition - especially when completing UK early issue originals.
A complete original package, fantastic as-pressed & printed superb shape!
It is so close to PRISTINE and may be unplayed, no spindle lines visible - clean as a whistle, no apparent wear noticeable.
The package concept was unique at the time, and subsequent presentations have been issued on 12" lps (a yellow vinyl album saw release many years ago).
The film was The Fab Four's own production, again showing their whimsical humour, unscripted - and loosely revolved around a coach trip and the odd characters involved.
The Beatles had progressed from 'A Hard Day's Night' and 'Help', to a somewhat psychedelic period of influence. It's a 1960's landmark in that respect, as all around there were imaginative and increasingly sophisticated records being released into an excited culture.
Critics took it too seriously and missed the point really, it was meant to be without objective, and so fans could just get the feeling of being on the ride too, no pretence of a message or epic storyline.
CONDITION;
VINYL M and NM.
The Parlophone 1967 pressing is extremely nice, so gaining practically pristine copies is extra special. A couple of very faint marks only on disc (side3) barely visible and nothing to affect the sound.
MATT BLACK LABLES are clean and bright, no pen or stickers, no spindle marks - gleaming lovely shine. Whew!
The LAMINATED FLIP-BACK COVER is NEAR MINT, really super shape. The inside booklet is clean and firm, no creases or smudges from handling. The colour is as it was when made (many of these became discoloured from age and light, as I have seen).
