Description
A true collectable, this 50th anniversary UK re-release of "Love Me Do" was withdrawn just before release, with EMI having been made by Apple to pull the issue of this 7", owing to the album version of "Love Me Do" being used instead of the single version, as well as the catalogue number of the B-side being incorrect! This is a rarity which will continue to appreciate! All outlets have been instructed to return these copies to the label. Catalogue number C0174017, this copy is new/unplayed!
Please note that the new version of this (released on October 22) has the same B-side catalogue number error - the withdrawn version has a matrix number of BC88258-01A1 in the A side inner groove. The copy I am selling has this matrix number so you can bid with confidence on this item, knowing that you will be getting the real deal!
