THE BEATLES Let It Be UK APPLE LP GLOSS SLEEVE 3U/3U VINYL EX+
The Beatles, Let It Be.
Early UK pressed Apple Records stereo LP, PCS 7096.
Green Apple labels with 3U/3U matrix numbers and ADM / 2 7 , AMG 5 mothers/stampers.
Housed in fully glossed single sleeve with green apple (with electric blue/green tints) to rear panel.
Vinyl a solid EX plus. Labels are clean and bright and it is only with the aid of a magnifying glass that just a very few spider trail marks can be detected. Playing surfaces still have a high gloss. No marks are immediately visible, and even with the aid of a magnifying glass there are just two or three light and superficial hairline scuffs evident.
Playback is superb throughout. No clicks or ticks, and just a tad of low level natural dust crackle heard occasionally at band separators.
Inner sleeve is presumed original, with EMI box logo and Patent No. 1,125,555.
External single sleeve is fully glossed and in EX condition. The overall appearance is still very fresh and bright, and sleeve has clearly been carefully handled and stored. There is still a high gloss to the laminate of both front and rear panels. Just one or two very light pinch line creases leading in to main panels from spine area. A touch of ringwear impression is visible only when the sleeve is rotated near a light source, and this is very mild and unobtrusive. Pinched ends spine and other edge areas are in excellent and undamaged condition, with just an absolute fraction of furling at the bottom edge, but this is really minimal. Entry side is crisp and unfeathered.
Altogether a very well preserved issue of this LP.
