Description
For auction is a rare complete UK first press box set copy of The Beatles ‘Let it Be’. YEX 773 2U/YEX 774 2U.
Outer sleeve is in VG+ condition- intact and minimal laminate issues.
Original inner tray and book tray are included but are only in G condition. These are notoriously fragile and many copies are now sold without them. There is, however, a brand new replica set included.
Original book is in excellent condition with no issues. So many copies have loose pages or worse, but this copy is great.
Original Apple record inner sleeve is VG+. Again, few copies come with this included nowadays.
Record sleeve - with first issue red Apple logo in excellent condition with only minor wear. Spine fully intact and readable.
Record is original first issue with 2U/2U matrices.
Visually a conservative VG+. Has some scuffs and hairlines but no deep or feelable marks. Labels clean and unmarked.
Sonically at least VG+ with no sticks skips or jumps but some light crackles. A good professional clean might improve this further.
All in all a great complete first issue copy or a rare and sought after box set.
