CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY THE BOX & BOOK 'GET BACK' BOOK: EX/EXCELLENT(+); the book is a super example. Some rubbing and light marks to the cover and spine which is completely undamaged with all text still clearly legible. All of the pages are firmly intact and are crisp and undamaged with just the odd light age spot here and there. I doubt if this has been looked at much at all over the years. Fantastic.
THE BOX: The fragile original laminated outer slipcase (Garrod & Lofthouse - Patents Pending) is in lovely condition and grades as EX/EX(-). Some wear to the corners + a few small light laminate creases. Some laminate rubbing/mottling. Looks great overall.
The fragile card outer tray is also the original and is completely intact. It has the usual creasing to the flaps + a 2cm tear to one and a 6cm tear to the other. Wear and scuffing along the edges. Otherwise, fairly sound condition considering how flimsy the material is.
Finally, the inner tray is also the original and is again made from very thin and lightweight card. This is also completely intact, but has become somewhat squashed over the years. There are two small tears. Like the outer tray, this is also in sound condition.
THE RECORD AUDIO EXCELLENT; this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and both sides played through nicely without jumping or sticking. The clarity of the audio was super throughout; bright and crisp without a hint of distortion.
There was occasional crackle, but this mainly only affected the first half of 'Let It Be' and was probably down to some marks on the record. Otherwise, really only between tracks overall. Very few pops/clicks.
Overall, the audio was really good and the record provided a highly enjoyable listen.
VINYL (VISUAL): EXCELLENT(-); the heavyweight vinyl retains a beautiful shine with just some light scuffs and hairlines under natural daylight which were more prevalent to side one. Bright light revealed just further wispy sleeve removal type marks. Looks lovely overall.
Both labels look lovely; bright and clean with no tears, scuffs or writing. Just some spindle marking evident consistent with the record having been played.
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD(+); the fully laminated sleeve is a nice example. It has ring wear to both front and back panels + some minor creasing. The thin spine has light wear but all text is still clearly legible. Light feathering to the opening edges + a small 1.5 cm split to the bottom corner. Looks presentable overall.

GRADING
Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!
CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
