Description

PXS1 on Apple label. 1970 THE BEATLES album box set "Let It Be". Tracks are: Two Of Us, Dig A Pony, Across The Universe, I Me Mine, Dig It, Let It Be, Maggie Mae, I've Got A Feeling, One After 909, The Long And Winding Road, For You Blue, Get Back.

This terrific album is in superb excellent condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has just a small amount of the very lightest wispy brush type hairline marks. These have no effect on the play. There is not a scratch or "heavy" surface mark at all. The DARK APPLE labels show just a handful of barely visible spindle marks and have no damage to or around the spindle holes at all. The labels are really absolutely beautifully clean and have no writing or marks.

The matrix numbers are: YEX 773-2U and YEX 774-2U. The mothers and stampers are: GDR and GDM.

The white inner sleeve with PATENT NO. 1.125.555. and MADE IN ENGLAND is in near mint condition with no damage, tears, writing etc at all.

The record cover is fully laminated and has the RED APPLEon the back at the bottom. The catalogue number on the spine is PCS7096. The cover is in wonderful excellent plus condition. No rips, splits or tears. Perfect spine with no crushing. Perfect opening edges with no fraying. No laminate lifting or peeling except for one ever so narrow little bubble on the top front edge, just by the opening edge. Really nothing bad at all. A really superb cover.

The book with laminated cover is also in wonderful condition. There are no tears to the cover and no bending or creasing to the spine. There is just one tiny tiny paper nick on the front top edge, on the right hand side. REALLY tiny and insignificant. There are no pages missing from the book but you can see that from age the middle pages are beginning to loosen where they are attached. No bends to any pages. Really superb.

Both the book tray and outer tray are mint. I wonder if these are replacements. Never had one of these sets before so am unable to say but these are superb.

The outer fully laminated slip case that the set slides into has just a scuff to each edge and ever so light rubbing along parts of the edges. Each corner is beginning to tear just right at the very edges but no rips or splits.

This is a really fabulous example of this terrific set.
