Description
THE BEATLES LP "PLEASE PLEASE ME". Issued in the UK in the early 1960s on the Parlophone black/yellow label Cat No. PMC1202 (mono). Not sure which issue this is so please check details below.
The EJDay laminated flipback sleeve is in FAIR condition. There is a tear along the back at bottom along the line of the flipback edge and this tear is approx 13cm long. The bottom flipback has curled back and the paper has parted. I do think that this flipback could be tidied and the tear repaired and due to the location of the tear a tidying of the flipback would disguise any repair - I think. There is a sticker mark on rear and the usual (but mild) discolouration to rear. The edges and spines are actually straight and tidy and free from splits. Front has some light creasing to the laminate but does look very presentable.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition - has some light surface marks but plays fine. Matrix numbers XEX421-1N and XEX422-1N. Label text gives "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963", "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." and "331/3R.P.M." but NOT "SOLD IN THE U.K."
