The Beatles : Let It Be...Naked 1A1/1B1 1st Press 2003 + 7" 'Fly On The Wall' Single w/Recordingis Misprint

This first pressing from 2003 plays with incredible quality with no background and 'as new' is a an honest description.  Pressed on 180g vinyl it is visually stunning and has been so well preserved over the last 21 years, played only once or twice max in my opinion.  The sonic quality is phenomenal, it just could not play any better.  It comes complete with the 7" 'Fly On The Wall' single also pressed on heavyweight vinyl.  As per all the early first pressings both the 7" sleeve and the gatefold have the 'recordingis' misprint on the back.

The gatefold is in superb condition with hardly any wear and has perfectly retained its shape and structure.  Its wide spine is still very wide!  The accompanying booklet is 'as new' and the 7" sleeve is also in pristine condition.

Visual description

The vinyl is in lovely condition with an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen and no marks or scratches.  Under a bright light I cannot see any hairlines and with only one tiny spindle trace on each label the record has clearly hardly ever been played.

Play grading

S1 plays with stunning clarity, depth and warmth through all the six tracks.  This pressing has always been very highly regarded and when you find one as clean as this the sonic quality really does shine through.  There is no intrusion and 'as new' sums it up perfectly.  The stripped back 'The Long And Winding Road' is a fine example of that and it plays beautifully with not even a single dust tick.  As always I have played every track in full so as to provide a 'complete' grade, no visual guessing here!

S2 is of the same high end standard with no background and the clarity of sound cannot be faulted.  One of the most interesting cuts on this album is 'Across The Universe' which plays with phenomenal audio.  I am perhaps impressed by simple things (!) but the long fade out on this version is superb!  From start to finish this stunning album plays with impeccable quality and like I say...no background of any kind. 

I suspect the 7" single has never been played before based on the visual quality and having played various extracts I can confirm the clarity is very impressive, I heard no clicks or pops and barely any static.  There is a small hairline mark on S2 but it has no affect on the audio.  

The Gatefold, Booklet & 7" Cover

The glossy cover is in superb condition with barely any wear.  There are a couple of minor 'rubs' on the bottom edge of the front cover and minimal rubbing on the right hand corners and I do mean very minimal!  The front cover has a small sticker removal mark top right and that is the extent of the wear, it looks hardly handled!

The LP sized 20 page booklet is in perfect condition without any marking or creasing and the 7" sleeve is 'as new' also.

This record has been cleaned on my Pro-Ject VC-S machine

I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
