The Beatles : Let It Be...Naked 1A1/1B1 1st Press 2003 + 7" 'Fly On The Wall' Single w/Recordingis Misprint

This first pressing from 2003 was pressed on 180g vinyl and has been so well preserved over the last 19 years.  I suspect it has never been played such is the quality of the audio on offer here.  The clarity, depth and warmth of the sound is stunning and there is barely any intrusion as detailed below.  It comes complete with the 7" 'Fly On The Wall' single that is also pressed on heavyweight vinyl.  As per all the early first pressings both the 7" sleeve and the gatefold have the 'recordingis' misprint on the back.

Both vinyls are visually stunning with no scratches etc and the gatefold and 7" sleeve are also in superb condition with barely any wear.

Visual description

The vinyl is visually stunning and still has an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen with that unplayed look.  There are no marks or scratches and I cannot find any hairlines either.  The labels are perfectly clean with no marking or spindle wear.  The 7" single is also in great condition with no marks etc and only a couple of faint spindle traces on the S2 label.

Play grading

I have played S1 in full and the clarity and definition of the audio is stunning to say the least.  This has always been a highly respected pressing and this one is no exception.  The only 'intrusion' is one light click on 'For You Blue' during the first vocal.  Aside from that there is no other 'background', no static even.  S2 has no interference at all and as always I have played every track in full.

The 7" single plays with great clarity overall.  S1 has a couple of light clicks and one on S2 but having sold a number of copies of this album it never plays with perfect audio I have found.  However, there is no background static and remains a superb and very interesting listen.  

The Gatefold, Booklet & 7" Cover

The cover is in superb condition with only the bare minimum of shelf wear.  The edges have only a couple of minor 'rubs' on each, the wide spine is perfect and the corners are also incredibly clean.  The opening edges have no handling wear and the front cover has just one small sticker removal mark top right that you can only see when you hold it at a certain angle.  The back cover is in lovely condition also with just one tiny barely visible crease/crimp bottom left.  The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no marking.  A superb example.

The LP sized 20 page booklet looks untouched with no marking or creasing and the 7" sleeve is so close to perfect with just a very minor 'graze' on the top edge.

Play tested on my Rega P2 Turntable / Denon PMA-520AE Amp / B&W 684 Speakers

This record has been cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine

I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.
