THE BEATLES – LET IT BE BOXED SET (COMPLETE)
Please note that UK postage is £7.95 not £4.50
What we have for sale here is a genuine FULLY ORIGINAL & COMPLETE 1st UK pressing copy of the Limited Edition Let It Be boxed set. The set comprises: picture cover box with slide out tray inner; Let It Be LP in original Sleeve (featuring a Red apple Logo to the rear); and Get Back Book. None of the components have been switched or replaced with inferior modern reproductions. I’m sure that if you are looking at this listing that you have knowledge of the scarcity of this set so I will not bother eulogising about how great and how rare this set is. Instead I’ll get straight down to the nitty gritty…

GRADING
OK, to deal with all the components separately:
BOX: VG+ The box is in fantastic condition with no rips or tears and only slight edge wear. There are a few laminate wrinkles visable near the top and bottom.
TRAY: VG The tray is similarly in great condition. There is some wrinkling to the flaps where they have been bent back in the past. There is some slight edge wear. There are 2 small tears to the top of the tray and one to the bottom at the internal corners.
BOOK: EX Looks almost perfect. The spine looks un-cracked. There is no discolouration to any of the pages. There is a very small bend to the top front right hand corner.
SLEEVE: VG++ Sleeve is in really great condition. There is some very slight ringwear and a couple of laminate wrinkles to the front of the sleeve. The surfaces are bright and clean and are entirely un-faded. There is no peeling or damage to the laminate. The spine is undamaged with all text being visible.
RECORD: EX
The record shows a couple of very, very light sleeve removal marks when viewed under bright light. These are entirely superficial and do not sound. There are 2 hairlines to side 2. These are not feelable and do not sound either. The record plays through amazingly with no discernable background noise or distortion.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
