Note the sharpness of the spindle holes and the lack of spindle marks...
Look how untouched the front corners are....
and the rear ones too !

There is a minor scuff on the rear of the outer sleeve..see below
This the 1970 UK First Pressing of the LET IT BE box set.
The catalogue number is UK Apple PXS 1, though this is not listed on the box.
The disc itself is PCS 7096 with Matrix numbers YEX-773 2U and YEX 774 2U
stampers Side 1, 6 PM & on Side two 3 A.
The 2U matrix numbers on both sides are unique to this box set.
Any other numbers means the disc has been substituted by a regular release copy.
Not great sellers in their time because of their price. (nearly twice that of a regular LP).
The packaging was a departure from the norm with the fully laminated
outer slip case designed by John Kosh and printed by Garrod & Lofthouse.
Inside was a tray for holding the fully illustrated book
and of course the LP sleeve with its distinctive unique red Apple logo.
Again only found in this box set.
This is a 100% completely original "LET IT BE" box set.
The laminated outer sleeve has never been compressed or squashed and is in EX condition.
The tray holder/book holder are in EX++ condition.
The inner white sleeve is in EX condition.
The glossy fully laminated book is in N/M condition with no
foxing/writing/tears and is still fully bound to the spine. With constant use they become loose and often separated but NOT in this case.
The dark green labels are in EX+ condition (see photos).
The red apple sleeve is N/M with all the spine printing legible and undamaged
and all edges straight and true.
The vinyl plays as N/M on both sides but under a strong light
there are some paper marks where the LP has been withdrawn from its sleeve.
Also there is a scuff on the rear of the outer slip case (see photo)
but these are the only small niggles on an otherwise
superb 100% original LET IT BE box set.
One that will be hard to equal, let alone better.
