Description
HISTORY
A very early pressing of this rare single, and therefore very hard to find today. It was pressed in the UK by EMI and released on 4th December 1964. It was made for export purposes but a number of dealers began shipping a limited amount of the disc back into the UK for resale. The single looked like a normal Parlophone 45 disk, with one exception: the statement, "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RELEASE PRICE CONDITIONS. SEE PRICE LIST", does not appear on the label, because they were not to be sold in England. I was fortunate to obtain some copies when I worked as a buyer for Keith Prowse Records in 1965.
CONDITION: Very good for age with no visible marks or scratches. This copy has only been played a few times and therefore plays nicely in glorious mono of course!
