I TOLD YOU BEFORE, the never released get back sessions HOW RARE IS IT? WELL TRY AND FIND IT ANYWHERE, GOOD LUCK.THERE ARE OVER 2,OOO BEATLES LPs IN THE COMPLETED LISTINGS HERE ON EBAY(check for yourself) AND THIS LP IS NOT ONE OF THEM IN FACT I CAN'T FIND ANY REFERENCE TO IT ANYWHERE AND I MEAN ANYWHERE. I BOUGHT IT LAST WEEK IN AN AUCTION WHERE THERE WERE A LOT OF BEATLES ITEMS ALL FROM ONE SELLERS PRIVATE COLLECTION WHO UNFORTUNATLY IS NO LONGER WITH US AND I THINK I HAVE BEEN VERY LUCKY TO HAVE WON THIS BECAUSE IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT A RARE FIND. label avitom made in israel no year on record catt no dhta 19111947 speed 33 rpm side 1 i told you before 21.34 side 2 madman 7.21 my imagination 7.16 you wear your women out 6.42 printed information on the rear of the cover is as follows word for word, the lp you're holding in your hands right now is not the usual "get back/let it be" sessions album packed with the numerous takes of "the long and winding road", "dig a pony", "the one after 999" etc. for the first time on vinyl,here are four original lennon/McCartney compositions that not many people have heard before. all the performances here were recorded during the 1969 sessions and were considered not good enough for the "let it be" and the "abbey road" albums. we, at avitom records ltd, managed to get access to 1st generation tapes of some of those tracks and were suprised to discover that there is enough material here for another album with lots of goodies. the first track which spreads all over side 1 "i told you before" is a fine example of how the beatles could work together, exploring new ideas as this lennon original develops into a jam session around the line of "i told you before, get out of my door". in the middle of this track you can hear john,for a few seconds only discussing the accord changes with george while paul sings this line as a rugh guide.ringo is in his best form here,you've never heard him using his sticks before like that! its important to indicate that this song is NOT "i told you before" from lennon's pastic ono band" album of 1970. same name but completely different numbers. the opener for side 2, "madman" is also a lennon track,the longest version ever to appear,a track that could do well along "mean mr.mustared" and such. closing the album are two long McCartney tracks "my imagination" and "you wear your women out". fast rockers in the "helter skelter"/"i'm down" tradition.the last one could not appear on any beatles album as the feminist mafia would ban it! we hope that you'll enjoy this gem as we had fun assembling it. manufactured and distributed by AVITOM records ltd. p.o.b 681 TEL AVIV,ISRAEL RECORD SEEMS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION( i use the record collectors grading as a guide) FREE POSTAGE TO THE UK I WILL POST WORLWIDE BUT RECORD "MUST BE SIGNED FOR" PLEASE ASK ABOUT COST OF POSTAGE FOR YOU AREA AS PRICE STATED IS AN ESTIMATE ONLY AND NOT AN ACURATE PRICE THANK YOUprice rating
