RELEASED IN THE US (but not the UK) IN 1970 ON THE BACK OF 'ABBEY ROAD', THE RECORD WAS A HUGE SUCCESS (selling over 3 million) AND TO MEET DEMAND EMI UK PRESSED COPIES (CPCS 106) FOR SHIPMENT ABROAD - BUT EVEN WITH THE US SALES EMI DID NOT RELEASE THE RECORD AT HOME UNTIL 1979 (PCS 7184)

LABELS: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright and fresh labels with moderate spindle traces (mostly on Side One, very few on Side Two) and a light mark near the spindle hole on both sides (please see close-up photos)
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen and shine like new
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Outstanding sound performance - crystal clear, deep, rich, warm and detailed and my play-check at loud volume found practically nothing to fault - just a little surface at the very end of "Hey Jude" (impossibly minor and really barely worth a mention) - plays beautifully - lovely copy
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT(+)
The sleeve is very thin and flat with crisp, sharp edges and spine - all spine text is clear.
The laminated surfaces have a deep, glass-like glossy sheen and apart from some minor light creases to the extremities and some 'ring' evident on the black back, this is a very fine example indeed
