This is the UK Original press of 'Help!' by The Beatles. This press is complete with the original 'Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Sold In UK' label text, the rare MT tax code, the original Emitex inner sleeve and the earliest 'Patents Pending' outline 'Stereo' Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good++ condition. The vinyl has the most wonderful high gloss with only a few of the lightest wispy hairlines and a couple of light marks. On playing the sound is exceptionally warm, rich and clear. The black and yellow Parlophone label is completely clean. The black is bold, the yellow is bright and the silver text is sharp. There is no spindle wear, just a few very fine spider marks and the rare MT tax code. The record is complete with its original Emitex inner sleeve.
The laminated earliest 'Patents Pending' outline sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are bold, the white is exceptionally bright and the laminate has a stunning bright shine and is completely flat. The top corner has some wear otherwise the corners and opening edge are extremely firm. The back of the sleeve is still extremely bright and the spine is firm with clear black text on a clean white background.
