Description

Firstly, I am NOT a record dealer, but I am a record collector. The LP's I am selling are from my personal collection that I am selling due to a combination of downsizing and upgrading.
Here is a seriously rare ORIGINAL 1965 FIRST PRESSING of the Beatles' fifth UK album - HELP! This album is one of the Beatles' best and sounds STUNNING IN MONO. The album was produced to coincide with the Beatles' second film of the same name and side one contains the songs from the film, and side two features a selection of excellent studio tracks. This copy if a very first edition copy - with -2 matrix's on the vinyl and the 'outline' mono logo on the sleeve. The UK mono version of the album is arguably the best way to hear the album - DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO AQUIRE AN ORIGINAL 1ST EDITION MONO PRESSING ON THE PARLOPHONE YELLOW AND BLACK LABEL!!!!
The cover is very clean and presentable. There's NO WRITING, NO STAINS, NO SPLITS and a FULLY LEGIBLE SPINE. It is clear that this LP has been looked after - EVEN THE FOLD-BACKS ARE COMPLETELY CLEAN - JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!! Very nice sleeve all round. Just a couple of crease lines in the spine and a couple of handling marks only visible when held under strong light. I'm of course, being picky, but you will not be disappointed. As a result of these very small flaws, I'm grading the cover a MEGA STRICT Very Good+ according to STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING STANDARDS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. This record has not been overgraded in any way.
The labels are the ORIGINAL 1965 Parlophone Yellow and Black labels. There's the KT tax code on side two. The labels are very clean and just show a hint of spindle wear when held under strong light - PLEASE EXAMINE THE PICTURES!!! The vinyl is beautiful and is the typical THICK VINYL expected of 1960's pressings. It retains a full deep shine and has a couple of marks only visible in strong light. The album plays accordingly - light to moderate signs of play. The album plays all the way through with NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO POPS. There's just a tiny bit of crackle audible in-between tracks and on quieter passages - which does NOT interfere with the music. The only thing that lets it down is a scratch on side one, which runs along the last four tracks. THIS IS NOT FEELABLE and does NOT sound on my equipment, but to be MEGA SAFE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT, expect it to sound as a light 'click' on quieter passages to avoid disappointment. I'm grading the vinyl a MEGA STRICT Very Good++ ACCORDING TO VERY STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING STANDARDS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. This record has not been over-graded in any way. I've thoroughly enjoyed listening to this album, and it's a perfectly acceptable copy to have in any collection: DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE A GENUINE FIRST PRESSING OF THIS RARE ALBUM!!!
