ITEM:
The Beatles - Help - STEREO.
1st Pressing - 1965 UK LP in Picture Sleeve.
Garrod and Lofthouse outer sleeve with the outline ' STEREO ' in the top right hand corner.
Original red and white ' EMI ' company inner sleeve.
Original green and white Parlophone promo insert.
1st pressing with the text ' THE GRAMPHONE CO ' around the rim of both labels.
With the text ' SOLD IN THE UK ' on both labels.
LABEL / VINYL.
Parlophone - PCS 3071.
YEX 168 1 / YEX 169 1.
Stamper codes - 2 / AG 3 / PD.
Disc weight - 148g.
VINYL AND LABEL CONDITION VISUAL:
Both labels are very clean and bright where the only significant wear is around the side 1 centre hole.
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and glossy.
Totally free from and fingernail scuffs or scratches.
On careful inspection directly beneath a bright 100 watt light bulb all that is revealed are a few wispy harmless inner sleeve removal hairlines.
No other marks or wear.
Both sides of the vinyl lie flat on the turntable when playing with no traces of dishing or warping..
PLAY CONDITION OF VINYL:
NEAR MINT .
This fantastic sounding copy has received only some careful play on high end equipment and is flawless throughout.
At high volume I detected no traces whatsoever of any groove or play wear on any track or in either channel.
Both run ins and all bands play entirely without interference and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or other audible distractions.
SLEEVE CONDITION:
EXCELLENT PLUS.
Original Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve.
An extremely clean and more importantly white example which retains a bright glossy front laminate.
The front cover bears just a single ' thumbnail ' mark towards the opening edge and a few to the spine.
There is a small bruise to the lower right corner but all others are clean not damaged.
All edges including the opening edges are clean and not damaged.
The rear panel is perfectly clean and brilliant white with no discolouration, marks, writing of missing paper.
All flipbacks fully clean and not damaged.
Both seams and the fully worded spine are unsplit.
INNER SLEEVE:
Clean, crisp and white with just an inevitable light disc impression but certainly no writing, tears or seam splits.

Mint condition.
