Description
Up for auction is a nice, early pressing of The Beatles album "Hey Jude" originally released in the U.S. on Apple Records (SW 385) in 1970.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-Original green apple labels
-RARE "Bell Sound" mastering stamp in run-out
-Still in opened factory shrink wrap
-Original paste-down cover
-Heavy, inflexible vinyl
Condition:
Cover looks very good, still in opened factory shrink. There's scotch tape on the shrink wrap along the open end edges (see photos), but I don't want to try to remove it so as not to damage the cover--the buyer can try if they would like to--perhaps using heat to loosen the adhesive--or just leave it as is. Otherwise, the cover looks great, "as new". Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+), with the tape issue noted.
The vinyl is also in very nice condition, still has its original glossy shine. No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some light, superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a couple times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little, if any, previous play. Some superficial pressing marks in the run-out matrix. Nice copy. Grade: Excellent (EX).
