Description
This is Beatles Hey Jude lp with a large hype sticker. The vinyl is presumed mint, and would be the original 1st pressing with THE BEATLES AGAIN on the labels, with Hey Jude on the spine, Bell Sound in the deadwax, and SO prefix.
The cover is mint and fully sealed. The rare sticker is affixed on the shrink wrap, which was usually torn off and tossed within seconds of getting it home. The shrink has breathe holes (see close-ups). The 1st pressings of this record can be distinguished by Paul's pants being dark, and blending in with his bandmates...a correction that he requested/demanded so his pant were tinted on later cover issues so he would stand out more (so the story goes).
The only miniscule flaw on this copy is a very small corner bump in the right lower corner (see close-ups of all 4 corners).
The sticker is in excellent condition condition with only the slightest amount of edge fading / toning.
I was lucky enough to purchase several of these, both sealed and opened several years ago from a former Capitol employee as part of his very large collection. Unfortunately, he kept them in a 2-drawer lateral filing cabinet that left the right corner dinged on most copies. This is one of the best ones-a true investment grade lp.
