1965  UK Parlophone PCS 3071 Stereo  LP with Garrod & Lofthouse  Sleeve , complete with Original Emitex  Liner Sleeve

Great condition very early Factory Sample pressing - Samples were taken pre production for quality of sound and manufacture quality - the Mother / Stamper sequence is 1 G / 1 G , so obviously one of  the very first  pressings !

Interestingly the LP sleeve has a retail outlet sticker - this was a local shop for me through the 1960's , and many small retailers were sent sample (even demonstration label) pressings when stock ran low - such was the demand for Beatles' discs at the time  - such early discs are very rare indeed ! Lovely collectors item ....

The Disc has very light use only  .... lovely bright surfaces , no marks or wear .... bright  clean labels ,  light trace of  spindle use  ....... Plays through really really well , outstanding  sound quality throughout  :  Graded at  EXCELLENT+  condition.

The Sleeve has light use only ....  bright , crisp and clean ....  crisp laminate , no wrinkling .... very light laminate lustre  ....  crisp  edges and spine .... clean rear panel  : Graded at  EXCELLENT condition.

The Liner Sleeve is nice and clean , no splits etc

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. Where do they get that 'played once' nonsense from ? Do they think people are idiots ? I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
