FOR THE DISCRIMINATING COLLECTOR:

LIQUIDATING MY PERSONAL COLLECTION OF 40+ YEARS:

The Beatles, Get Back, TMOQ GN 70069.  The Glyn Johns Final Compilation’ (1999)  on GOLD WAX.

The original  ‘Get Back’ sessions were supposed to bring the feuding Beatles back together around 1970 for a fun, loose record after the splintered ‘White Album' but things didn’t turn out that way.

The sessions turned chaotic almost immediately (various Beatles quit the group at various times during the recording).  Engineer Glyn Johns mixed an early version of the album that’s preferable to the spliced together official release — retitled ‘Let It Be’

At that time the original, proposed  "Get Back" cover featured an updated version of the original 1963 Please Please Me LP cover which had the youthful  Beatles looking down from  a stairwell.  This was updated with pictures of the Beatles from 1969-1970 era.  This cover was scrapped when the LP was released as Let It Be.

That is the cover you see here, resurrected with this 1999 bootleg LP featuring the the original Glyn Johns mixes before the drowned in strings and other mushy decorations by producer Phil Spector making this is one of the more highly and sought after Beatles bootleg LPs.

Record visually graded glossy Near Mint and possibly unplayed.  NO distractions.

Cover is also Near Mint with no signs of wear.  Bright white back, perfect spine, nice square corners.   No writing, seam splits, tears ring wear, stickers or creases.

Fair opening bid amount determined by recent sales and my initial investment.

PLEASE NOTE: I LIST HUNDREDS OF RECORDS AND CANNOT POSSIBLY PLAY THEM ALL. I DO MY ABSOLUTE BEST TO VISUALLY INSPECT EACH RECORD AT ALL ANGLES UNDER A SPOTLIGHT LAMP. IF I DO PLAY GRADE A RECORD, IT WILL BE STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING. USPS MEDIA MAIL WITH TRACKING TO CUSTOMERS IN THE U.S.A. IS $ 4.50 (EXTRA PACKING)
