This auction is for an original vinyl record called ‘From Then To You’ by The Beatles.

Notes – this legendary album and Beatles collectable needs no introduction.  If you're reading this you probably know what this album is all about - but just in case!  The album is a compilation on hard vinyl, of all the Christmas flexi discs issued to the Fan Club members from 1963 to 1969 inclusive.  As a thank you to their fans who had stayed with them through the 1960s, the Beatles compiled this album of all those flexis.

 

This is an original 1970 album issued on Apple Records.

CONDITION –

The vinyl is in Excellent condition.

The sleeve is in Very Good condition. 

(Record Collector gradings).

 

The all important labels are in superb condition.  There is a small amount of writing that can hardly be seen of the previous owner's name (see scan for how difficult it is to spot) or other blemishes, the text is striking and clearly legible with NO fading, they are in superb overall condition apart from this small blemish.  The spindle is clean with little evidence of much wear though there are signs of the record having been played. This album is still in a highly collectable condition.

The vinyl is in very good condition and has few marks or blemishes.

The most outstanding aspect of this copy is the clean nature of how the record plays with little surface noise or static pops between tracks.  This album has clearly been loved and enjoyed, and treasured by a keen collector.  The quality of the sound makes the playing of the disc a pleasure with few allowances having to be made for its 40+ year vintage, which is astounding in itself.

The front of the sleeve features the 4 pics of the Beatles in the corners of the front panel with facsimile signatures underneath the Christmas message from the Beatles to their fans.  The back of the sleeve (please see scans) has the name of the previous owner written twice (one in top left corner and one on bottom right picture) as well as a small date of December 1970 and also the word 'free' right at the top edge.  These words are very small (see scan), and are included here for absolute completeness.

This album is becoming increasingly rare, especially in this condition.
